I’m sure you all have heard of Atkins, Herbalife, Sensa, slow carb, low carb, carb cycling, Forks Over Knives diet, Paleo diet, LA Weight Loss, Beachbody, and Weight Watchers just to name a few. I can understand the frustration when it comes to finding the right diet. They all seem to have their little tricks and gimmicks but the truth is they all have a few common reasons why they work.
Detox diets typically are diets that are meant to “flush” out all the bad stuff out of your body. I’ve also heard them called cleanse diets, flush diets, body cleanse diet, etc.. Typically they come in the form of eating a lot of insoluble fiber, some sort of laxative (natural or synthetic), or by way of fasting.
